Carver of prints, taker of pictures, drinker of coffee and haver of all the feels. From the inky fingers of the Night Press, I bring you the thoughts and processes behind the prints.
I stock my prints on Etsy, here are some links to my most popular prints. I’m sorting out a purchase option on iprintatnight.com but until then, check out my Etsy, I’m just as charming there, I promise. It’s important to me that when you receive your print, it feels like you’ve purchased a gift to yourself. I use bight coloured business cards and tissue paper to wrap your print in, and most prints come with a little gift. My thank you card doubles up as a print – it is inspired by the mountain area of the north of the country and if you look really closely you can spot a Pakistani truck and some rikshaws.
Urdu Alphabet Flashcards – these are available to buy as single prints or in sets of three or five. Read the story of these flashcards on my ‘Words in Urdu‘ page
Anna Karenina – this is the print that gives me all the feels, printed using two blocks on Ho-Sho paper and Caligo ink. Read about the story of this print here.
Charpai on a Starry Starry night – this print is inspired by tales my mother told me of her summer visits to her grandmother’s house inPakistan, of taking her charpai to the haveli roof to sleep under the night sky and escape the summer heat. Made using three blocks on buff Stonehenge paper
